Products

Do you fix the items before listing them for sale?

We do! We want to provide you with pieces that have been inspected, tested and cleaned before listing them for sale. We also do small repairs on lamps and other pieces in need for it. For more advanced replacements & repairs we team up with professionals in the specific fields. Read more about this on our About page.

Do you sell anything new?

All items at Mendera are pre-loved, although some gems might be unused and still in original packaging from the past.

Pick Up & Delivery

How do I recieve my order?

All products are possible to pick up free of charge from our shop at Laivurinkatu 41, 00150 Helsinki. The showroom is open Thu-Fri 14-18 & Sat 12-16. We also ship most items worldwide.

When will I receive my order?

All orders are shipped within 5 business days. Once the order is made, you will receive a confirmation email. Shipping in Finland usually takes between 1-3 business days and in Europe 2-6 business days.

How much are the shipping costs & what are the shipping options?

We use Posti's services for our shipping in Finland and both Posti & GLS for international shipping. All parcels are sent with track & trace and with fragile shipping.

Finnish shipping:
SMALL (under 40x32x26cm) 8€
BIG (over 40x32x26cm) 15€

European shipping:
Any size up to 35kg - can include several purchased items 35€

Outside Europe:
Please inquire by email hello@mendera.fi or for a quicker reply dm us on Instagram and we'll check the price for you

PLEASE NOTE that some extra fragile items are pick up only - this information is stated in each items product description.

Do you ship internationally?

Thanks to your wishes we have decided to ship internationally! So happy to be sharing our Mendera treasures worldwide.

What type of packaging do you use?

We mainly use reused or recycled packaging materials. This means pre-used paper and bubble wrap, reused cardboard boxes and paper tape. We always pack and ship the items very securely with a lot of care and love.

What happens if I don't collect my parcel?

Please note that any shipped packages that are not claimed from Posti will be automatically returned to Mendera. The customer is responsible for paying a return fee of 10€.

Billing & Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept most major debit and credit cards online and in store as well as ApplePay.

Do you offer Klarna/AfterPay?

Not at the moment, but we may implement it in the future.

Returns

What is your return policy?

In line with EU regulations all products have a 14 day cooling off period (right to return). The return has to be made within 14 days of receiving your order, after which the return is no longer possible. Please be directly in touch with us if you want to return any item(s). The returned product(s) has to remain in original Mendera packaging and unused by the customer. If it does not meet these standards we can not accept the return. A return form will be provided for the customer. Please let us know why you want to return the product(s). The customer is responsible to safely return/ship the item(s) to Mendera showroom at Laivurinkatu 41, Helsinki. Any damage due to poorly protected items will not be compensated.

Return Costs

Any returns to Mendera shop is free of charge. Return by shipping is 10€. We will deduct the return shipping cost from the total refund amount.

What happens if my products arrive damaged?

We are here to help you. Please contact us as soon as possible (but no later than 14 days from receiving the package) together with a few photos of the damaged product(s). Please also include a description of the damage(s). We will resolve the situation as quickly as possible & look into refunds with the shipping company.

Warranty

Do the electronic products have a warranty?

As all the products are preloved there is no general warranty on them. Therefore we assess all the products thoroughly before listing them for sale, so you can make secondhand purchases at ease.

The electronic products are all inspected, tested and cleaned before listing them for sale. However, if an electronic product has an issue please make sure to contact us as soon as possible. In general, we recommend never leaving any electric devices unattended.
